farewell, farewell, farewell to winter!
today i:
- wore sandals (and now have blistery spot to show for it)
- went church rumage sale-ing + bought myself a mug
- had a picnic lunch in the park
- went down a slide
- pushed a very happy N on a swing for a really, really long time
- noticed that the irises and the tiger lilies and mint and garlic that i planted last year are making their way up through the dirt
- washed the winter coats and soaked the mittens, scarves, hats, etc in eucalan so that they can get put the hell away
- planted borage and tomatoes
- felt a tiny bit sun burnt and mostly really, really happy. it's a little freaky how much i am affected by the seasons
- hung some fiber out to dry
i now i really have to get cracking. i am going to be sharing a booth with the amazingly talented jen at renegade craft fair in brooklyn this june 14 + 15. this means that i have lots and lots (and lots!) of dyeing and spinning to keep me busy over the next not-even-two-months. i'm excited.

it's totally freaky, the seasonal thing. i little scary. i'm freakin ELATED today. and i was at that sale, too!
(love the colors on that fiber)
(congrats on renegade!!)
