it was 75 degrees today in portland, maine! what the hell? my timing for pulling all the woolly hats and scarves and mittens out (early this morning) was way off.
also, joe and i went to city hall today and voted. (we had to change our address for registration anyway, so it just made sense to do it while we were there.) i have to tell you, it felt really emotional to fill in that circle next to barack obama's name. voting always gives me a bit of a (perhaps nerdy) rush, but this was something more. it might sound a little corny, but i really felt like i was a part of something historical and important and such a long time coming, and it was pretty awesome.
