Here is a little mosiac to illustrate my day yesterday:
I can't believe my kid was able to swim in October! In Maine! The ocean up here is usually so icy. Getting your feet wet on a hot day in July can be a painful experience. And ok, maybe swimming is a bit of a stretch- I guess it would be more accurate to define yesterday's activity as a series of quick dunks and sprints. Whatever you want to call it, it was good times.
On today's menu: updating the yarn shop. For those of you waiting, that does mean more Banana Peppers (and an array of other fibery delights!) are on the way, hopefully up by 4pm EST today. Yikes! That means I had better get to work!
My hubby had a course at COA this July, and my daughter and I tagged along (a long-time dream of mine to visit Maine and Acadia). I wish I had had my camera ready when my 2-year-old, wading in the cold water with zero concern, went tush-over-teacup over a rock and landed chin-deep in water! She was absolutely SHOCKED - but only got upset when we told her we had to go back to the room and get her changed! Kids have no sense of cold, huh?
Gorgeous pics, makes me wish I was in Maine again (one day I'd love to live there!) Can't wait for the shop update!
