love your wreaths, aprill! i am stingy with my buttons, too.

when is n's bday? we just had a great party for jane yesterday. we decorated gingerbread houses. we did the same thing when she turned six - we made it a pajama pancake party, though. the girls came at 8:30 in the morning in their pj's and had breakfast with us. it was lots of fun.

We made fake sushi for my youngest son's birthday party a couple years ago. Maybe we got the idea from Family Fun magazine- I can't remember. We started with making marshmallow rice krispie treats but we didn't spread them out in a pan. We molded them by hand around a couple of cut up gummy worms. Then we wrapped that in a strip of green fruit roll up. It really did look something like sushi. Anyway it's worth taking a look over at the Family Fun website- they have lots of Birthday party ideas.
