Leah

i am very interested in hearing more about these learn-to-spin kits." what is included? i want to learn how to spin but i have been putting it off because it sounds not particularly "kid-friendly" but obviously you do it so it mustn't be completely impossible.

if i lived oooh five or six hours closer i would surely come to friday's event. have fun and sell lots!

thanks leah!
the spin kits will include 4 ounces of handpainted fiber, one drop spindle, and some good instructions.
i initially learned to spin on a drop spindle and it's a great way to learn. it's a great cheap introduction and very portable (perfect when you are chasing after little ones!). also, much like knitting, it's nice in that you can pick it up and put it down as you need to.
