my big girl turned 9 yesterday! wow!
for her party, i made a bunch of soot sprites for the goodie bags, using heidi kinney's helpful tutorial as a rough guide.
and joe made a cat bus cake! pretty awesome, huh?

Guess what! My 5yo asked me yesterday if he could have a 'Miyasaki party'. I had already planned a robot party (I'm an advance planner - nerd), but haven't bought anything. I can't say no to that idea! Woo! A catbus cake is already on my list.
